Meet Jack. Jack is in his early twenties and between study, work, and spending time with his friends and family, instilling a regular exercise routine into his everyday life has been difficult.
He has tried personal trainers before at other gyms but has found the experience overwhelming. Jack is someone who likes his independence when working out, but enjoys knowing he has support available if needed.
He heard about the Face2Face program, here at Victoria Park Pool, from his roomate. The centre is situated right by his University, and he thought it sounded right up his alley.
If you haven’t heard of Face2Face before let us break it down for you. The program gives you access to a free personalised fitness and well-being program over the course of five weeks. What could be better than that?
We tailor your personal fitness plan using the latest scientific approach and most time efficient techniques, so you never get bored or have to quit because you are too busy.
Each week, for five weeks, your dedicated fitness professional will meet with you to discuss topics such as workouts, eating habits, and how to take your workouts to the next level.
So, Jack’s about to step into his first session, what does that look like? This session will allow him to meet some of our team in the gym and explain to our coach his goals and needs, get his measurements taken, as well as setting benchmarks of where his fitness and health is now and where he wants it to be in the next six weeks and the future.
So, what were Jack’s goals? Jack wants to be able to swim 1km continuously in the pool and gain six kilograms of lean muscle throughout the next six weeks!
