Warming Winter Smoothie Recipe

Warm Banana Hot Chocolate Smoothie

When it's cold outside it can be tempting to curl up on the couch with a cup of hot chocolate in front of Netflix.

However, the average hot cholate can be filled with unwanted sugars and calories. What if we told you, we have a perfect alternative to warm you up on these cold nights?

Here's the recipe for our go-to warming winter smoothie!


  • 1 cup of unsweetened almond milk, heated in the microwave or on the stove.
  • 1 ripe banana.
  • 2 Tbsp natural peanut butter.
  • 1 ½ Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder.
  • 1 tsp cinnamon.
  • A pinch of salt


Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. Not warm enough? Pour your smoothie into a microwave-safe cup and heat for 15 to 30 seconds, or until it reaches the desired temp. Enjoy!
