Attention Valuable Members and Guests,

More exciting new has just been announced from our partners at the City of Sydney, our indoor facilities at Ian Thorpe Aquatic Centre and Cook+Phillip Park Pool and the health club at Victoria Park Pool are officially reopening from Tuesday, the 23rd of June!

Reopening Plan

We have a team of highly experienced leisure and safety professionals who are putting in place the necessary measures to ensure you, your friends and family are safe when you return.

Our Six Element Plan

1. We will ensure that our Staff are safe and ready to welcome you, and they will have received the necessary Training in some new ways of working.

2. We will have Re-Commissioned our facilities so that technically and environmentally they are ready to receive you.

3. We will have ensured that our Supply Chain is re-established and capable of meeting new demands.

4. We will have put in place new and heightened Safety and Hygiene protocols.

5. Our Marketing and Proposition element will ensure that you are kept fully informed of the necessary changes we have to make

6. We will have re-purposed some of our facilities to more easily apply social distancing, such as:

  • Implementing the 25 metre turning booms to operate 2, 25 metre pools at Cook+Phillip Park Pool and Prince Alfred Park pool to allow more of our community to utilise our facilities at this time
  • Having an advance booking system that limits the number of customers in Group Exercise at any one time

They will be available but we ask that you still try and limit your time in the centre and follow the 4 square metre regulation within the change room areas.
Lockers will be available however, please ensure that you practice social distancing guidelines whilst using the lockers.
Water Fountains
Will be unavailable. Please ensure you bring a full bottle of water with you upon each visit.
Sanitisation Stations
Have been placed throughout the centre for you to use.
Cashless Transactions
We are CASHLESS and will require all payments to be made via EFTPOS until further notice.

We look forward to seeing you soon!

We have been delighted that the NSW state government continually stressed the importance of exercise and we hope that you have found the 360@Home with its free online classes and other content beneficial at this time.

This has been a tough time for everyone, and we are so proud of so many of our staff who have been volunteering in their local communities providing such valuable service to the vulnerable and those in need.

Please be assured of our ongoing commitment to you and we very much look forward to welcoming you back to these facilities.

Kindest regards,

Victoria Park Pool Management
