Mardi Gras’ Fair Day returns to Victoria Park on Sunday 19 February 2023. We will experience increased patronage through Victoria Park Pool on this day.
Fair Day brings the LGBTQI+ community to Victoria Park and offers something for everyone across the day, and into the evening.
To create a welcoming environment for the community attending the event on the day, the change room facilities at Victoria Park Pool will be Gender Neutral for the duration of the event.
In previous years, over 80,000 people have attended Victoria Park to enjoy the festivities, and over 1,000 people visiting the pool on the day.
To celebrate the event, Victoria Park Pool are offering a 50% discount on all aquatic entries on the day (offer excludes gym access). With the potential increase in patronage, the regular experience at the pool may be impacted.
Mardi Gras are working to cause minimum disruption to the use of the carpark and will have security at the gate to ensure access for patrons is maintained.
Set up for Fair Day will begin on Wednesday 15 February, within the car parking area and there will be limited spots available for parking. On event day, the two accessible car spots will remain available, with drivers escorted to the car via the Parramatta Road entrance.
